Richly, Col 3:16

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…”

From zhubert (http://www.zhubert.com/study?root=πλουσίως) I see four places total where this word is used. It might be translated “opulent,” which give me images of an Arabian prince with a gold plated mansion. Here are the uses:

  • Col 3:16 We are to let the word live in us richly
  • 1 Timothy Those who are rich in this world need to look to God, not their riches. God richly provides everything for our enjoyment.
  • Titus 3:6 The Holy Spirit has been given to us richly through Jesus
  • 2 Peter 1:11 We ought to work toward a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of Jesus.
