These Are the Days of Elijah

I like the song, “These Are the Days of Elijah” but didn’t understand it. I don’t like singing what I don’t understand. I was surprised to find the depth of thought that Robin Mark put into it here: http://www.robinmark.com/index.php?section=24. The references to “Brethren” and “Gospel Halls” sounds like Plymouth Brethren to me. He is playing a little fast and loose with the idea of typology, but still, the thoughts have merit. I appreciate the song more for reading its story.
