It can be difficult to change to adapt to another culture and then return home and experience a reverse culture shock. Many people are suprised by this experience. Others are likely to want a sound-bite version of your life-changing experiences. You are likely to have heightened sensitivities to behaviors that did not used to bother you.

He gives suggestions for re-entry based on the length of your time away.
